Rostov State Medical University
Rostov-on-Don
is the capital of Southern Federal Region. It is the largest business,
industrial, cultural and scientific center in the south of Russia.
Rostov-on-Don is a city of student, not only Russian students study here
rather every year hundreds of young people from different countries come
here for higher studies.
Rostov State Medical University is one of the oldest institutions in Russia.
More than 9000 students from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe are
being trained at this university.
It is one of the oldest Medical Institution of Russia founded in 1915.
Now there are 9 faculties, 72 departments and more than 600 lecturers.
Among the most outstanding graduates of ROSTOV are the world known ophthalmologist
Sergie Fyoderov, the Surgeon Peter Kovalenko, the psychiatrist Alexander
Bukhanovsky.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Degrees awarded
